1. Copy the video link
On desktop, copy the address from your browser bar. On the mobile app, tap Share and then Copy link. Links look like dailymotion.com/video/x8abcde, and short dai.ly links work too.
2. Paste it into the downloader
Open the downloader home page, paste the link (or tap the clipboard icon) and press Fetch video. The video's title, channel, duration and formats appear within a second or two.
3. Choose Video, Audio or Image
The results panel shows a live preview on the left and three tabs on the right. Video lists every rendition the upload offers with its resolution, bitrate and estimated size. Audio shows the audio profiles carried by those streams. Image lists each thumbnail size, from a 60-pixel strip up to full HD artwork.
4. Download with progress
Select a quality and press the download button. Image downloads stream directly to your device with a live progress bar. For the video and audio itself, the panel links you to Dailymotion's own player, because those streams are signed and player-locked — this tool reports the formats rather than copying protected files.
Troubleshooting
If a link fails, check that the video is public: private, password-protected, geo-restricted and removed videos cannot be read. Refresh the page and try again if Dailymotion is temporarily slow to respond.
